Event - Gardening with Blue Peter
7 April 2011
Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins helped us get our hands muddy in the school grounds.
Pupils in Year 4 won a national competition which challenged children aged seven to eleven to design their own sensory garden.
As the prize, Blue Peter's Chris, a sensory challenge judge, came out to help them bring their ideas to life.
"The entry from St. Paul's really stood out as a winner because it was so eye-catching, full of colour and really imaginative, the design contains a pathway which will take the children through the garden and guarantee all senses are satisfied."
Year 4 with the help of Mrs O'Reilly, worked really hard on their design to create something both fun and educational that the whole school will enjoy. It's something the school will treasure for years to come.
