Our Year 6 class lead a fantastic class worship, all about the Queen’s Jubilee. We sang the National Anthem together as a whole school and we watched a photo story, with a picture of the Queen for every year of her life.
Year 6 told us lots of interesting new facts about the Queen that we didn’t know. Well done to Year 6 and to the Year 6 staff team.
In the afternoon, the whole school had great fun celebrating at our Platinum Jubilee Party. We all enjoyed an afternoon tea picnic as well as games on the school field.
We were lucky enough to be able to share some of our jubilee celebrations with one of the Deputy Lieutenant’s; John Wood. The Deputy Lieutenant helped to judge the best dressed in each year group as well as the best decorated paper plates. We have got some photos of the winners.
The visit was fabulous and the icing on the cake for our Jubilee celebration day.
