Our school last received an Ofsted Inspection at the end of November 2010.

We were judged to be a good school, with some outstanding features. Comments from the inspection report included:

  • This is a good school which is improving strongly.
  • Pupils grow into mature young people in the school’s welcoming and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Pupils feel extremely safe and behave well.
  • Parents are overwhelmingly happy with the school.
  • Pupils are keen to attend school very regularly, which is contributing to a rapidly improving rate of attendance.
  • Staff use their detailed knowledge of each pupil expertly to provide an outstanding level of pastoral care.

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Inspection

We last received a SIAMS Inspection in February 2016, when we recieved an outstanding grade. The report included comments such as:

  • Astute spiritual and inspirational leadership by the Principal whose vision, motivated by her personal faith, impacts successfully on the multi-faith community the school serves.
  • Exemplary pastoral care and intervention strategies that overcome barriers to learning and enable pupils to realise their potential.
  • Excellent spiritual growth throughout the school ensures positive attitudes, enjoyment in learning and academic success for virtually all pupils.
  • The school, through its distinctive Christian character, is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners.
