Event - Year 3 visit the Tudor Museum
29 March 2011
We visited The Oaks House Tudor Museum in West Bromwich as part of our History topic on Henry VIII and Tudors.
We spent the morning as Tudors! Some of us were lucky enough to be rich Tudor children whereas the rest of us were poor Tudor children and had to wait on our rich classmates!
We got to dress up, and learnt how to prepare the house for an important visitor. The poor servants learnt not to scratch their fleas when they were working and how to lay the table for an important guest. The rich children learnt how to write with quills. We all had a fantastic day!
